Choose how a conversation appears

Notify+ reorganizes LINE notifications already arriving on your phone. Conversation mode stacks messages from one chat into a single notification. The alternative Apple-style grouping keeps individual message notifications grouped by chat. Choose the presentation that is easier for you to scan.

The Google Play listing also describes quick replies, contact avatars, per-chat controls and a mode that replaces the original notification to reduce duplicate cards.

First use: permissions and a small check

Install Notify+ from its Google Play listing, which identifies the developer as Stan Shih. Follow the app’s permission guide to enable notification access so it can read LINE notifications, and notification permission so it can show the reorganized version. Android 12 and earlier do not require a separate notification-posting permission grant.

Choose a notification style, then check a few incoming messages in one conversation. If both original and reorganized cards appear, review the replacement setting. Per-chat controls let you choose which conversations the app handles.

Quick replies and troubleshooting

Quick reply works through the reply action supplied by the original LINE notification. If a reply cannot be sent, open LINE to check the conversation rather than assuming a notification action succeeded.

For a reproducible issue, note the phone model, Android version, LINE version and the notification style in use. Check the app’s help and public issue tracker; avoid including private conversation text in a public report.

Privacy and the limits of notification access

Notify+ needs access to notification content to reorganize it. The Google Play listing states that processing happens on the phone without uploading it to a server; the public Android manifest does not request INTERNET permission.

Its input is the notification delivered by LINE, so this is a notification presentation tool rather than a replacement for the chat application. Notify+ is independently developed and is not affiliated with LINE Corporation or LY Corporation.
